I have an X-Acto knife before but the body was plastic material, this is the first time I bought a metallic one which I have already been using for 3 months now and I could say that there’s really no difference with the experience of using it aside from the other hobby knives. My previous X-Acto knife, the plastic body, didn’t last for 2 years or so of constant due to the pressure of tightening it back every time I need to replace the blade, but you could be sure that this new one will last longer.
