This is a birthday gift to my son who happens to love the South Korean based children’s animated series the Robocar Poli which seems like a combination of Disney’s Cars, Transformers, Thomas and Friends and Bob the Builder. The action figure we have here is the car transforming robot called Poli, who assumes the titular role of the animated series. This particular toy series is the minified version of what I think is the standard toy line called “deluxe” which is two times bigger, more detailed, and has some extra gimmicks (e.g. led light implements, moving parts, extra accessories, etc.). The mini and deluxe version both appears to have the same transforming mechanism. I thought the mini version is just reasonable enough to buy since I like smaller figures and smaller price (about 10 US Dollars).
The Robocar Poli character designs are interestingly cute, they play the part so well as being the childrens version of Transformers.
