Barbatos Gold Plated version, the completely awesome kit I won
It finally came, the much awaited prize kit I won from Bandai’s Year End Campaign 2015: The limited edition HG 1/144 Gundam Barbatos Gold Plated version, only 315 units were sent away to the prize winners, luckily one of them was me after only having registered 2 scratch card entries (which I got upon buying a couple kits from local stores namely; the HG Graze and EX Standard SD Gundam). There was other prizes, most of them great sets like an entire Real Grade line, entire Iron-Blooded Orphans High Grade, some selected Master Grades, and single expensive items like Perfect Grades. The prize choice was given to you before even entering your entry code, because of that I thought about choosing a prize that promises higher chance of winning and I had a feeling that choosing the Barbatos Gold has a probability for winning (at least I thought so).
And so I was very exhilarated when I was immediately notified that my entry had won right after submitting the entry codes, it was a great day and I almost felt like I had accomplished a great deal after all 3 years of doing this hobby. Then I thought to myself it wasn’t that bad of a deal to buy from local stores (authorized distributors like Toys R’Us and Toy Kingdom) if you can at least have some chance of winning completely free and awesome Bandai kits.
Only time will tell if I will actually build this thing, but then again this is by far my only limited edition kit that I possess in my collection.
Hi. Did you receive a “winning notice” together with the kit?
Cool kit! ?
I couldn’t remember, if there was and it’s something remarkable then I would have taken a photograph of it. So I think there wasn’t like that in the package just the kit itself. I should’ve screenshotted The Bandai website campaign page winner announcement instead though.
