I introduce to you my third package. And again it’s from HLJ, I really started to like their customer service and how they handle your orders; first of all, I already talked last time about how good a website that they have, but they also have this “Private Warehouse” should you want your paid items to be stored for you temporarily for 2 months which is great when you don’t have enough budget for shipping fees or when you want to ship the items in a fairly distant future, now when it comes to customer support they have people to send you replies instantly via e-mail, well I had a situation where I missed the “Payment Request” email from HLJ for 3 days, so they sent an email “Request for Overdue Payment”, I finally saw this email but I don’t have enough money deposited on my bank connected to my paypal account (HLJ primarily uses Paypal for payment process) and I can’t go to my bank and deposit since it was holidays where banks don’t like to work (at least in Philippines), so I contacted “trouble@hlj.com” and ask them If I could be given overdue payment extension, then not longer than 2 minutes I had a reply by a guy from HLJ saying that the extension could be granted, I was happy with that. Days later it was still impossible for me to deposit to my bank and overdue is just a day away, I again contacted HLJ requesting for 2 more days of due payment extension, again same as the previous one the guy replied quickly confirming that they agree to wait for my payment, now that’s a great consideration to a customer and I love them for that.
Now let’s talk about the goods. First items are some hobby tools I bought; A small clamp (just good for holding 144 scale kits parts), 20 pcs. painting clips (I needed more of these), a dropping pipets, and a water slide decal for specifically for my HGUC Unicorn Gundam.
Next stuff, is the HGUC EX-S Gundam… one of the gundam I am really looking forward to get my hands on. This is the kit that I failed to pay on due time, and I really commend HLJ for not giving up on me, I mean they could have just put this kit on someone else’s shipment package instead of receiving emails about troubles of not able to pay, so yeah, HLJ has a good customer service because of that. EX-S Gundam is so bulky and I like bulky mechas so that is why I bought it.
Now I also ordered a System Base, I thought it was a ‘must have’ stuff, and I was right. It’s perfect addition for photo shoots later, although I feel like I need to obtain or create a large “hangar” setting for it to make for a nice diorama photo shoots in the future.
And last items are the HG AGE-1 Normal + The Razor Mod kit. I bought it because I really wanted AGE-1 Normal and the additional price of obtaining the Razor Mod kit is reasonably fair. I did however contemplated about not messing the AGE-1 Normal, and just buy a bootleg AGE-1 Razor kit (because of the clear parts that the Bandai Razor Mod kit did not provide), but then I saw a youtube video of a AGE-1 Normal + Razor Mod kit that’s so awesomely painted which made me forget the idea of getting the Bootleg Age-1 Razor and just get on with the Razor Mod kit. I’ll just probably buy another AGE-1 Normal then.
So those are what I got for now.
