I never realized that I would be such a gunpla enthusiast until this site was born, it was just pure nostalgia that led me back into this hobby after all, I thought I could try buy and build just one Gundam model kit just to relive the life of mine some 15 years ago. As a kid from the late 90’s, I couldn’t resist the excitement of opening the box of a Gundam scale model kit, every single time, I would try to surprise myself of what’s inside for me by opening the box gently, getting transfixed on reading the guide, bemused as I go inspecting every inch of whatever materials I find inside it, I knew there was something different with it other than being a toy figure, it is really more than that, in fact what matters is the feeling of excitement that lingers during the procession of actively building the model itself, and that the result could be the ultimate reward. But requirements upon growing up draws a lot of changes and sacrifices, you soon find yourself surrounded by other things to commit mandatory interests with as you get older, and just like that my Gunpla hobby was long gone. I forgot the excitement that I knew once, I had to experience that again to relieve myself of this stressful working man’s life.

Now as an adult, it is even hard to let go, I know I could and can buy myself any number of gunpla kits which is something I can’t do when I was a kid. Its an opportunity so great I couldn’t elude it, to live in the past when life was simple, when your only job was to plan and construct a scale model of an awesome mechanical humanoid figure, and continue to be amazed when result is rendered aloft the top shelf of that cabinet, then feeling good just walking by taking glimpse once in a while.

And so I took myself back into this hobby and planned about getting a site setup if ever I continue buying and building model kits, at this point I have reached a milestone where I own some 30+ model kits, and the site was born. It’s a real shame if I fail to exhibit the fruits of my hobby to the rest of the world especially to you and other gunpla hobbyists, but I also hope that doing so will extend Gunpla awareness to the world and encourage more people to get into this hobby and share theirs as well.
